Workshops:
The University of Minnesota’s Bullying Prevention Program: Teaches participants to identify bullying behaviors and employ effective strategies for coping with bullying. This class addresses both bystanders and victims and can be taught to parents and/or students.
Raising Media Savvy Kids: Created by Common Sense Media, this class teaches parents of young children how to address screen time issues and create a healthy media balance at home.
Raising Kids in a Digital World: Created by Common Sense Media, these parenting classes help parents of older children and teens prepare to engage the online arena safely and responsibly.
“through-U” Kids Become Media Wise: Developed by the National Institute on Media and the Family, “through-U” parenting classes equip parents to raise healthy kids who can navigate today’s media-saturated culture responsibly.
